Correct Icing Protocol

Cover the ice pack with a light wrap (ie: paper towel or thin towel) to avoid burning the skin.

Apply the ice for 15- 18 minutes. *No more or less, timing is important*

Wait one hour before reapplying ice to the same area

*Note: Refrain from using heat until you have spoken to a health professional to avoid increased pain and other adverse physical effects.
